Life Abroad
Although France is only the size of Texas, it has a great deal more to offer than The Lone Star State.
First, of course, is Paris—The City Of Light (or Of Love—depending on your mood).
For the young and bohemian, there is The Left Bank with its cafés and bookstores.
For the upper class, there is the Right Bank with the Champs Elyse and its high fashion shops.
To the north are the beaches of Normandy where the English, Canadian and US troops invaded to save the French from the Germans.
To the west is the Loire Valley filled with ancient chateaux and marvelous vineyards.
In the south is the playground of the rich along the Côte d’Azure—Saint Tropez, Cannes and Nice.
And finally, for the skiers, in the winter time, there are the Alps that hug the eastern border of this amazing country.
